sailing_3Since several of the crew were going to be in Puerto Ayora until later in the evening, gathering and loading supplies, the “welcome aboard” cocktail gathering was postponed until the next evening.  We also postponed the safety drill until the next afternoon.  (Park regulations state that a boat has to complete this demonstration within 24 hours of passengers’ boarding the boat.)  Carolina gave us a brief version—where to locate the heavy-duty life jackets, where to gather in an emergency—just in case.

Tomorrow—Floreana!  Click here to come along.
